1. Scope of Services
We provide: (a) local pickup & delivery; (b) appliance delivery & installation; (c) haul-away; (d) handyman/installation tasks; (e) Caribbean shipping coordination (pickup, paperwork, and terminal delivery); and (f) sales of shipping materials such as 77-gallon barrels and corrugated containers (D/E containers).
The exact scope for your job appears on your estimate, invoice, work order, or booking confirmation.
2. Booking, Quotes & Changes
- Quotes are based on the information you provide and are subject to change if conditions differ (e.g., stairs, tight access, additional items, extra labor).
- Scheduling is first-come, first-served. We will confirm a date/time window by email/text.
- Changes requested after booking may affect timing and cost.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- Access: Provide safe, clear access to the space (driveways, stairs, elevators, entrances). Notify us of building restrictions.
- Preparation: Disconnect utilities unless pre-arranged. Pack and label items for pickup/shipping.
- Accuracy: Accurately describe items, quantities, and conditions when booking.
- Compliance: Ensure contents comply with applicable laws, carrier rules, and customs requirements.
4. Pricing, Invoices & Payment
- Service fees follow our posted rates or your written quote/confirmation.
- Additional labor, materials, waiting time, or access issues may be billed separately.
- Payment is due at service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We may assess reasonable processing fees charged by payment providers.
- Past-due balances may incur late fees or collection costs as allowed by law.
5. Cancellations, No-Shows & Access
- Reschedule/Cancellation: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
- No-Access/No-Show: If we cannot complete service due to no access, unsafe conditions, or unprepared items, a call-out fee may apply.
- Delays: Traffic, weather, or prior job overruns may shift windows. We’ll communicate promptly and work to minimize impacts.
6. Liability & Limits
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or concealed conditions (floors, walls, utilities, appliances, cabinetry, or structural elements).
- For installation/handyman work, we follow manufacturer guidance where applicable. We do not warrant suitability for a customer-provided product.
- Limitation: To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Caribbean Shipping & Third-Party Carriers
We provide local services (pickup, packing support, documentation assistance, and delivery to a Miami terminal/forwarder). Once freight is transferred to a third-party carrier or forwarder, their terms, tariffs, and liability rules apply.
- Documentation: You are responsible for providing accurate shipper/consignee details, contents descriptions, and any documents required by carrier or customs.
- Transit & Customs: We are not liable for carrier delays, customs inspections, duties/taxes, or destination-side agent fees.
- Insurance: Cargo insurance, if desired, must be requested and confirmed with the carrier/forwarder. Coverage is not automatic.
8. Product Sales (Barrels & Corrugated Containers)
- Barrels: Unless otherwise specified, barrels are Non-UN and not food-grade (not for direct food contact or liquids). Factory-sealed, consumer-packaged foods may be placed inside for shipping.
- Containers (D/E): Double-wall corrugated export boxes are for general goods; not for hazardous materials.
- Color/Stock Variance: Barrel shades (US Blue/Euro Blue) and minor spec variations may occur based on supplier availability.
- All Sales Final: For safety/compliance, used items or opened packaging are not returnable unless required by law.
9. Storage, Abandonment & Disposal
- If items are left in our possession beyond the agreed time, reasonable storage fees may apply.
- Unclaimed items after written notice may be deemed abandoned and disposed of in accordance with applicable law.
10. Prohibited or Restricted Items
Do not tender hazardous materials, explosives, firearms/ammunition, illegal substances, pressurized cylinders, flammables, perishable unpackaged foods, live animals, or items prohibited by law or carrier policy. If in doubt, ask us before scheduling.
11. Insurance & Risk of Loss
- Maintain appropriate homeowner/renter coverage for on-site work.
- Risk of loss transfers to the carrier at terminal handoff. Optional cargo insurance must be arranged with the forwarder/carrier if needed.
12. Photos, Proof of Work & Communication
- We may document pickup/delivery/installation with photos for quality control, proof of service, and claims handling.
- You consent to receive service-related texts/emails (scheduling, arrival windows, confirmations). Standard rates may apply.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute shall be brought in the state courts of Brevard County, Florida, unless otherwise required by law.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
